The Inyankapemni Club is a traditional Lakota war club, a hunting club perfect for bludgeoning bluecoats. It was the Close-Range weapon of Crazy Horse.
Description
The Inyankapemni had a football-shaped stone head covered in rawhide, atop a long, flexible wooden shaft.
Length: 24 inches Weight: 1.5 lbs Wood, Bauxite, Rawhide
Uses
The Inyankapemni was used to bludgeon opponents, using the flexible shaft to strike with greater momentum. The weapon could be used both from foot and horseback.
Like the Apache War Club the Inyankapemni is a frail weapon and can easily break, but its light weight makes it faster than most similar maces.
