The PKM (Пулемёт Калашникова Модернизированный: Pulemyot Kalashnikova Modernizirovanni, Russian for Kalishnikov's Machine-gun Modernized) is a lighter version of the earlier PK machine gun. It can be used as a light anti-aircraft weapon when put on an AA mount. It is used in Russia and most former Eastern Bloc nations. Because of it's low price and high durability it is one of the most common machine guns in the world.
